Weekly Photo Challenge - Unidentified Objects
Here's my response to this week's Weekly Photo Challenge, with the topic "Unidentified Objects." This was a great topic for a photo challenge -- finding something abstract enough to make people guess what it is, is a good way to get the photographer to think more carefully about framing the shot.
This one is probably easy to figure out, but, hey, I didn't have time for anything more mysterious.

Very nice. I love the texture,,,
You are so right concerning getting the photographer to think about framing and using a photo as a guessing game. I myself failed this week in this challenge. I did post but nothing so exotic as somthing to figure out. I just didn't have anything to work with but then again, I could be wrong. Anyway, as far as your late entry, I always try to look for who posts late so as not to miss theri efforts. Your effort has me stumped. I think I recognize gravel at the bottom but darned if I know what the image is. I had my husband check it out and he is stumped as well. Anyway, its a great image for a stumper. If you have time, stop by for my entry, as I said, not exotic but I did post. See it here: http://photographics.xanga.com/698845135/weekly-photo-challenge-unidentified-objects/ Have a great week.
Great shot, at first i thought birch tree, but looking at the lower part i'm not sure!
OK....your topic is up...where is your view from the couch?
@Timages - You're right, it's a birch or birch relative! The local agricultural technical institute has an arboretum full of different trees and plants.
@gandywhite - quite right, I noticed on Thurs. and already forgot -- I'll get 'em posted soon!
